Tickets have gone on sale for our 2016 Annual Charity Party, Shag Tracks XXII.
Don’t hesitate in getting your tickets to the biggest little dance and pool party in the South. If you waited too long in reserving your rooms at the host hotel Best Western Plus, don’t worry, Holiday Inn Express will be a newly remodeled facility and the Shuttle Vans will be picking up from both Hotel locations starting Thursday at 4:30 pm each day.
Each year The Alhambra Shrine Temples Charity Works and Shriner’s Children Hospital Party gets bigger and better and this year is no exception. Starting with our Pre-Party Jump Start event on Wednesday for early bird arrivals, it’s music pool side all day with open evening dancing at the Host Best Western Plus Ball Room.
There is a big line up of events starting on Thursday with dinner at the Alhambra Shrine Temple, followed by dancing with the Embers Band featuring Craig Woolard, live on stage.
There is also a great line up of guest Deejays: Billy Waldrep Roebuck, SC, Larry Calhoun Kings Port, TN, Mike Hall Louisville, KY, Ken Hughes Calhoun GA, and Steve Kitts Georgetown, TN. Shag work shops with Sam and Lisa West Hamlet, NC, and pool side hospitality with Mack & Bettye McNeal and Mike Young for McCormick Distilleries Knoxville, TN. David Shaw of Duck’s and Duck’s Too N. Myrtle Beach, SC and pool side lunch with Jerry Mullis food service. Evening meals hosted by Dallas & Beverly Bunton, North American Credit Service Chattanooga, TN, Derby City Bop Club Louisville, KY, Smoky Mountain Shaggers Knoxville, TN, and the Choo Choo Shag Club Chattanooga, TN.
